Skymap sensitivity movie; Babak et al. 2015

Sensitivity sky map at f=7 nHz computed with the phase-marginalised Bayesian technique for a "non-evolving" source. The color scale corresponds to log10 of the 95% upper limit on the strain amplitude A. The white points indicate the positions of the 6 best pulsars with sizes corresponding to their contribution to the S/N. Black dots indicate the location of the Virgo and the Coma clusters. Movie related to paper: "European Pulsar Timing Array Limits on Continuous Gravitational Waves from Individual Supermassive Black Hole Binaries", Babak et al. 2015, MNRAS accepted; astro-ph 1509.02165.
